Brand partnerships

Decades of global experience have taught us: we can reach more people, faster if we do it together.

We work with local brands and partners to create customizable and mutually beneficial campaigns that help garner exposure and marketing benefits all while making an incredible impact. This is your chance to invest in lasting, sustainable solutions that deliver real results. Annual Engagement Days

Be recognized as an organization who supports local and goes global with its impact. We want to partner with you any time of the year, but here are a few special days to get behind.

World Water Day

World Water Day, held annually on March 22, is an international UN engagement day to celebrate water and raise awareness of the more than 2 billion people living without access to safe water. Each year, CAWST has recognized this important day with various local and national activities that shine a light on the importance of water and educate Canadians about the role we all play.

Earth Day

Earth Day is an annual event on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection of our earth. At CAWST, we train on protecting water sources which not only helps to reduce the risk of disease, but supports healthy ecosystems. Partner with CAWST to invest in earth's most precious resource - water.

Menstrual Hygiene Day

Menstrual hygiene, celebrated each year on May 28, is essential in creating a safe and inclusive environment. Yet each day, millions of women, girls and gender non-binary persons face discrimination, judgement and exclusion, simply because they're menstruating. It is impacting their ability to get an education, earn an income and participate in daily life. At CAWST, we're passionate about not only creating a dialogue on the subject, but coming up with solutions so that everyone is engaged in empowering change in their communities.

Global Handwashing Day

CAWST is a member of the Global Handwashing Partnership, and each year recognizes this annual day of observance on October 15. This day is dedicated to increasing awareness and understanding on the importance of washing your hands with soap to prevent disease and ultimately, save lives. Handwashing should be achievable in all settings, yet this simple, effective, disease-preventing action isn't always as easy as we believe it should be.

Word Toilet Day

World Toilet Day on November 19 is a day dedicated to inspiring action to tackle the global sanitation crisis. In Canada, this day often garners less attention than World Cheeseburger Day or World Coffee Day, and possibly the idea that there even is a World Toilet Day, may seem peculiar. However, this day is meaningful and important. Around the world, more people have access to a mobile phone than flushing toilets and lack of safe sanitation affects more people around the globe than access to safe water.

We have worked with CAWST now for more than half a decade. The Calgary Airport Authority takes its environmental stewardship responsibilities seriously and of course, water is an important aspect of that. For years we've admired the work of CAWST and we're happy to be a small part of it.

Education on the importance of water conservation, protection and use are all mutually important subjects. For us, it's really about having as positive an impact as we can on our local watershed and getting the message out to people that are coming to our airport that they can do the same through their actions. That's why we partner with CAWST, because we do have the same objective.
